Review: Crooked Kingdom

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I just... can't even. This book is completely amazing!
This book was everything I could have ever wanted in a sequel to Six of Crows. All of our favorite main characters return and the awful villains too. The world building is still just as gorgeous as the previous books in the Grisha Verse. I can't get enough of the fictional world Leigh Bardugo created and I really hope she continues writing more stories from this world!
I think we get to see even more about each of the main characters here. Bardugo really let their struggles and triumphs shine. I love that we continue to get backstory throughout both books which made me love the characters even more!
Daring escapes, dangerous feats, internal struggles all await you in Ketterdam in the follow up to Six of Crows. I truly loved this book more than Six of Crows but you can't have one without the other. I tried to make this as spoiler free as possible.
I highly recommend the Grisha Trilogy (Starting with Shadow and Bone) before reading this duology to prevent any spoilers that could hinder your enjoyment and reactions of the trilogy.
