Review: Everything, Everything

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I could not put this book down. I went into it not really knowing what to expect (my favorite way to start a book) and it hit so many emotions for me. This book made me adore, laugh, cry, and ache. The ending is a twist and that's all I'll say. I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
Maddy has lived her whole life with a chronic illness called SCID. It has prevented her from ever leaving her house after she was diagnosed at three years old. Basically anything outside can kill her and it can be immediate. Her mother is her doctor and her life has been simple but routine until new neighbors move in next door.
Olly sees Maddy his new neighbor and has to meet her. Maddy sees Olly and immediately wants to know him. They begin texting and Maddy keeps her friendship with Olly a secret from her mother. The more she gets to know Olly the more she wants to meet him, in person. That would be deadly for her.
