Review: Fight to Dance
Fight to Dance by Simon Brading
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book is meant for middle grade but I enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely be reading the next one. The characters are so well written that you feel with them and are so beautifully described that you can see them dancing gracefully. The plot thickens and grows from anticipation and tragedy.
This story surrounds twins Max and Emily Cooper. It starts at the beginning of their discovery of ballet and their shared passion for dance. They are highly competitive with each other while encouraging the best from the other sibling while they grow in brilliance. Everything comes to a sudden halt after a devastating accident leaves them feeling hopeless. Watch as their support and love for each other shines while learning to live with loss under unfavorable circumstances.
