Review: Hush, Hush

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was surprised by this book. I have to admit i loved the cover and my curiosity bloomed from seeing it pop up over and over at the bookstore, recommendations on Amazon and other people reading it. Some parts of the story are a little predictable but I honestly didn't mind that so much. I enjoy the mesh of suspense, romance and supernatural.
Nora is really off-put by the new guy at her school, Patch. He annoys the crap out of her and still there's something about him she can't escape. She definitely tries to avoid him... hard. Then her coach makes Patch her lab partner and she's stuck with him. He seems to know what she's thinking and it really freaks her out. Her best friend Vee is torn between telling her to either go for it or stay away from him because she thinks something is off about him too.
Nora starts seeing Patch everywhere and begins to suspect he is stalking her. She goes a little "Veronica Mars" by trying to solve the mystery of who he is and what he is up to. Then, Nora and Vee run into two guys named Elliot and Jules at a coffee shop. Elliot not only happens to be starting at their school the next day but only seems to have eyes for Nora, which could make things interesting or complicated for her. Only time will tell because the more she learns about Patch, the more questions she has. Elliot seems to be trying extra hard to spend time with Nora but so is Patch... Something is very wrong here...
