Review: A Drowning World
A Drowning World by S.R. Ruark
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This book had so much going on. The main focus is the relationship between mother and daughter. And magic. And being a survivor. And the daughter may be the most powerful in the world. So many different magical or paranormal creatures- ghosts, zombies, necromancers. Etc. It was information overload. The family relationship is beautiful though and realistic.
This is the first in a series so I am going to assume the second book will thin some of this out. It was a creative story and I am looking forward to seeing what the author does to expand the story and I'll definitely check out book two.
Thank you to Read It and Reap and the author for a copy of this book for a fair and honest review.
